Jill Eagle, Artist

 

I am a painter and teacher living in the Yorkshire Dales. Throughout my life I have been drawn to the rugged landscapes that can be found in the more remote regions of Britain. 

 

My love of these wild, beautiful places has provided the inspiration for my paintings, which are an emotional response to the landscape and the ever changing light and weather. I use colour and texture to encapsulate my experiences and feelings.

 

The majority of my work is painted on wooden board using acrylics and mixed media.
